A new automatic barrier system has been launched in DZG’s car park.

Visitors are reminded they need to buy a £3.50 token from the Safari Shop to enable an exit through the barriers.
Tokens can also be purchased from the machines outside in the car park, while zoo members who have pre-paid for an annual car parking pass can obtain their token from shop staff.
Zoo Manager, Matt Lewis, said: “DZG is a registered charity committed to the conservation of animals throughout the world.
“Every penny raised through the car park fees helps us achieve this objective.”
And have you noticed our new car park lights too?
The new additions illuminate the steel life-size animal sculptures that line the entrance pathway.
Matt added: “The lights look really good and are a welcome addition for the darker evenings, but they really highlight the animal sculptures, making them look even more striking.”
