Baby stays close to mum

Have you spotted our new baby ring-tailed lemur?

DZG-ring-tailed-bab-webThe youngster is the offspring of mum, Phoebe and dad, Frank.

The baby, who is one month-old, can be seen clinging to mum in the Small Primate House, in the enclosure they share with big sister, Freya and Broom, the red ruffed lemur.

Mum and baby will be inseparable until the youngster is 12 weeks old, which is when keepers can then name and sex the new arrival.
