A three-month-old Patagonian mara is in need of a name.

Head of Media and Communications, Jill Hitchman, said: “The baby was also given a health check by staff and microchipped, but as yet she’s not been named, so we’re hoping members of the public will come up with something suitable for a three-month-old mara.”

Maras are large rodents which originate from South America. Soon after birth parents move their offspring to underground tunnels where they remain for around three weeks before venturing out.
