An award-winning artist has added her support to our £800,000 orang appeal by creating a superb souvenir exclusively for DZG.
Hannah Dale, who founded Wrendale Designs, has produced a beautiful orang illustration on a gorgeous greetings card to help pull in pounds for our planned separate outdoor exhibit for our four Bornean great apes.
The designer, who studied art at school before reading Zoology at Cambridge University followed by five years as a stockbroker in London, is donating all proceeds from the sale of the £2.50 cards directly to the scheme.
The cards are on sale in our Safari shop where there are also a limited number of mugs available, priced £10.99, featuring another of Hannah’s orangutan drawings. Money raised from the mugs will also be added to the appeal.
DZG Retail Manager, Isobel Blackwell, said: “It is incredibly generous of Hannah to create this design especially for us. It’s a stunning card and will hopefully give our appeal quite a boost.”
We’ve designed a fundraising pack for anyone wishing to donate to our appeal, which is full of ideas and helpful tips to help you help our orangs.
