Animal aspirations

DZG Presenter, Caroline Howard, inspired a group of children from a Cradley Heath Primary School with a little help from some small, tame zoo animals.

Caroline, a bearded dragon, cockroaches and a ferret visited Timbertree Primary School as part of their aspirations event where she spoke about working at Dudley Zoological Gardens.

Caroline – pictured talking to the class below – said: “The children were meeting lots of people in different careers, so I took along some animals from the Discovery Centre to talk about a zoo keeper career. It was a brilliant day and hopefully we may see some budding zoo keepers from Timbertree here at DZG in the future!”
