Friday 9th August 2024

Dir: John Landis (USA 1981, 93 mins)

Certificate: 15

Beware the moon…

The animal inhabitants of Dudley Zoo take shelter, as darkness falls and faint howls can be heard in the distance. This August, Flatpack descends on Dudley Castle under the light of an (almost) full moon, transforming it once again into an open-air cinema for John Landis’ cult horror-comedy An American Werewolf in London.

One final word of advice – steer clear of the moors, stick to the roads, and most importantly, beware the moon!

This screening is part of ‘Beware the Moon’, a yearly screening event that turns Dudley Castle into an open air cinema for your delight and enjoyment. There will be hot food, a licensed bar, mood-lighting & special effects, and as always a surprise or two thrown in for good measure. Don’t forget to bring along a chair and/or a blanket.
