DZG’s latest partnership has a recipe for success, thanks to a seven-year contract with catering company, Amadeus.
Part of the NEC Group, Amadeus will take the reins at DZG on April 7 running the Queen Mary suite and kiosks and also managing events.
This new contract, worth £5.4m, follows a series of catering wins for Amadeus, including Cadbury World.
DZG CEO, Peter Suddock, said: “We are delighted to appoint Amadeus as our partners to provide on-site catering for visitors and to develop our event business.
“They were selected as it was felt they had the culture and experience required for a successful visitor attraction, together with their experience of the NEC, NIA, ICC and LG Arena.” Amadeus Managing Director, Kevin Watson, said: “We are pleased to add Dudley Zoological Gardens’ catering contract to our growing portfolio of fixed-site visit venues. “DZG is undergoing significant investment and we have been tasked with improving the catering in line with the visitor experience.”
