Horned frog, Albi, is starting 2014 in a new home in the Discovery Centre.
The four-year-old amphibian has been off show for a while, but has now gone on display in a freshly-planted and refurbished vivarium and will be used by education staff in upcoming school rainforest workshops.
Horned frogs are native to South America and are very distinctive species with brown, beige, green, orange and yellow colouring.
So-called because of a fleshy horn above their eyes, they can grow up to around 13 cm wide, with females larger than males.
