Tiger-mad DZG adopter Chloe Tustin had the most memorable day when she came close to Sumatran male, Joao.
The 16-year-old from Redditch, pictured above left, got to feed Joao and tigress, Daseep, when she became a Keeper for the Day with her mum Tracey Green, above right.
Tracey bought the experience for Chloe’s 16th birthday and adopted Joao for her as a Christmas present too.
She said: I booked the experience for Chloe as she is mad on tigers but being a Keeper for the Day allowed us to experience all aspects of the zoo.
We got to pet and feed the Sumatran tigress, Daseep, and I adopted the male, Joao, as a Christmas present for Chloe so she was absolutely over the moon to see him.
This is something we will never forget. Chloe is still talking about it and wishes she could come back and do it all over again.
YOU could become a DZG adopter, too!
