The Stroke Association is calling out for fun-seeking fundraisers to abseil down Dudley Castle’s medieval walls and raise funds for charity.
On Saturday, March 19 and Sunday 20, participants will be climbing the spiral staircase to the top of the castle in the heart of the zoological gardens before abseiling to the ground, taking in breathtaking views of the Black Country.
Katrin Winstanley, Events Manager at the Stroke Association, said: “No experience is necessary, and everyone taking part will receive abseil training before enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity while raising vital funds for the Stroke Association.”
Friends and family of abseilers will also be entitled to a reduced entry rate to so they can enjoy a day exploring the 40-acre attraction.
DZG Marketing Manager, Andrea Hales, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming Stroke Association supporters on site in March and hope they raise plenty of funds for their charity.”
