There’s birthday waves from our beautiful red panda, Yasmin, who turns 11 today!
And to mark her special day we thought we’d share this gorgeous shot of our red head by visitor Samantha Weaver.
There’ll be a few extra portions of her favourite fruity treats on the menu today, alongside her daily feed of panda cake and keepers may even add a carved vegetable candle for her too!
However, there will also be double celebrations for two of our critically endangered Yellow breasted capuchins – brothers, Spot and Doyle, who both share the special day, with Spot turning four and Doyle celebrating his first birthday! So happy birthday boys!
The siblings were born to mum Dinya and dad Willow and gathered for a pre-birthday family photo, for visitor Karen Edwards!
The day is also extra special as it’s their first in their brand new home!
Keepers moved the capuchin group from the Small Primate House on Thursday. They can now be found in the former macaque enclosure next to Inca the bear and they already seem to be loving it!
If you’re on site today, make sure you wish our trio many happy returns – they’d love to see you!
