A treat for mums!
We’re giving mums a special treat this Mother’s Day by offering them a free day-out.
Why not spend the special Sunday learning about some of the rarest animals in the world as well as meeting some of our amazing mums throughout the 40-acre site.
DZG Curator Richard Brown, said: “We’re proud of our breeding success with many endangered species on site and continually strive to maintain healthy captive bred populations, which can provide a vital safety net against extinction.
“We’ve got some fantastic animal mums on site who come in all shapes and sizes, from tiniest pygmy marmoset, Pam, to Nanga the snow leopard, but they’re all common in the special bond they form with their offspring.”
To receive free admission into the zoo on March 6 with the purchase of a full paying adult or child, mums need to CLICK HERE and print off the voucher to present to staff at the entrance.
Mother’s Day gifts
We’ve also got some fab items in the Safari Shop which mums will love!
From cuddlies to cushions, bags to bird boxes as well chocolate, biscuits, mugs, jewellery and trinkets – there’s something for every mum.
Why not pop in and take a look the next time you’re on site!
Thanks to Karen Edwards for the mum and son pic!
