Black howler monkey, Shelby, is helping us shout o
ut our thanks to a generous visitor, who sent us a £40 donation following a talk she gave about her DZG keeper for a day experience.
Monica Catley, from Telford, spoke to a church fellowship group about her day meeting some of the world’s rarest animals including big cats, lemurs and penguins and forwarded on the cash gift to us.
Monica said: “I had a wonderful day as a keeper and enjoyed telling everyone about it. I hope the money is used where it’s needed most.”
Zoo Director, Derek Grove , said: “We are very lucky to have such generous supporters who take such an interest in the work we do and we’re thankful for Monica for thinking about us.”
