An animal loving couple from Reading went home with an album of amazing photographs after meeting DZG’s animals during their keeper for a day experience.
Paul and Mary Sumpter joined the DZG team in helping care for some of the rarest animals in the world, including Sumatran tigers, Brazilian tapirs, Bornean orang utans and chimpanzees.
Paul, who surprised Mary with the experience for Christmas, said: “We had a fantastic day and all the keepers were so good and knowledgeable.
“The variety of animals we saw and fed was amazing, but the highlight of the day for both of us was feeding Daseep the tiger. Her photograph is now our desktop wallpaper on our computer.
“We have recommended Dudley Zoo to all our friends and have some amazing pictures from the day which we will cherish.”
