Horse trainer Saul Wilson was a natural with animals when he turned Keeper for a Day at DZG.
The 22-year-old animal lover (pictured above), from Oxford, fitted in so well he even got mistaken for a zoo keeper by one of our visitors!
Saul, who has spent time running horse safaris in Kenya and now trains horses at a polo training centre in Buckinghamshire, was given the experience as a Christmas present from his mum who lives in Telford.
He said: “We were visiting Dudley Zoo about a year ago when I told my mum I would love to be a zoo keeper for the day and was delighted when I was given the gift for Christmas.
“To get so close to the snow leopards and tigers and to feed them was amazing. I just loved every part of the day and learned such a lot from the keepers.”
