A hands-on DZG day

Mike Gravill and Stacey Cockill had a fab day out at DZG – but couldn’t believe how hands-on their Keeper for a Day experience turned out to be!

The couple, from Hull, joined DZG staff for the day to feed some of the world’s rarest animals, including Sumatran tigers, Madagascan lemurs and chimpanzees.

Mike, aged 23, said: “We found the whole experience really enjoyable, especially all the interactions with the animals.

“Our favourite part was definitely getting the opportunity to get so close to the giraffes and tigers.

“We chose Dudley Zoo due to the positive reviews we read online and found all the staff to be friendly and informative about the animals and the history of the zoo.”
