A fruity donation!

A big thank you to McDonalds Dudley who have donated a box full of surplus fruit bags to our animals.

The bags of apple slices and grapes – usually given out in children’s Happy Meal boxes – are now being enjoyed by various species across the site!

Assistant Curator, Richard Brown, said: “We’re really grateful to the staff from McDonalds Dudley for thinking of us.

“Fruit is a regular part of many of our animals’ diets, so we’ve dished out the bags to our primate sections, ungulates and birds, who will all enjoy tucking into the apple and grapes over the next few days!”
