A colourful workshop!
Pupils from a Smethwick primary school discovered animal camouflage during a workshop in our Go Wild! Theatre.
DZG Presenter, Pam Midwood, introduced the 30 children from St Matthew’s CE Primary School to a variety of critters, who are all known to use their colourings and patterns to hide from danger or attract a mate.
During the Colours and Camouflage educational session students had the chance to stroke and meet some amazingly colourful creatures, including stick insects, a bearded dragon, a Brazilian rainbow boa, a salamander and blue and gold macaw, Charlie.
