There’s still time to join our Tea-time Tour of DZG as we offer visitors the unique opportunity to help our keepers put the animals to bed!
On Saturday, July 22 we’re running an exclusive early evening guided tour of some of the rarest animals in the world, as you join keepers as they finish their daily after hour duties.
DZG Marketing Manager, Andrea Hales, said: “You’ll be following keepers as they begin the bedtime routines, learning about the vital conservation work we do along the way and getting up close and personal with a variety of exotic species.
“You’ll be giving the animals their tea, before settling down to your own as we’ll be holding a barbecue supper in the castle courtyard.”
The tour begins at 5pm and lasts approximately two hours.
Places cost £45 for adults and £35 per child (minimum 8 years), which includes the tour and supper and must be pre-booked in advance by CLICKING HERE or calling 01384 215313.
A further event will take place on Saturday, August 12.
