Three-year-old Bornean orang utan, Sprout has been greeting lots of young visitors this week . . .

She’s taken a break from perfecting her rope swinging antics to watch out for some of the 2,576 schoolchildren scheduled for trips and workshops from Monday to Friday.

So if you’re visiting from one of the 38 schools, nurseries or clubs booked in this week – including Rivers Primary Academy in Walsall, Perton First School in Wolverhampton, Tudor Grange Academy in Solihull,Crestwood Park Primary School in Kingswinford, Hamstead Infant School in Great Barr and Hillcrest Secondary School in Dudley – we hope you have a grrr-eat DZG day!
