Bactrian camels, Jimandi and Charlie got the festive hump last Christmas on discovering they were DZG’s least adopted animals  . . . 

But that’s all changed this year, thanks to big-hearted adopters across the country.

DZG Marketing Assistant, Andrea Hales, said: “We’ve posted out quite a few festive adoption packs for the camels this Christmas, which we’re delighted about and so are they!”

Alongside camels DZG’s youngest residents are proving popular with snow leopard cub, Makalu, Rothschild’s giraffe, Kito and Bornean orang utan, Sprout, leading the way.

Andrea added: “We’ve sent out lots of adoptions for our babies, but penguins, meerkats and adult orangs are also top choices this year.”
