The Queen Mary Restaurant

Located at the top of the zoo opposite the sealion pool you will find the licensed Queen Mary Restaurant. This is the ideal place to stop for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea.

There is plenty of seating indoors or why not enjoy dining under the watchful eyes of our wandering peacocks on the lawn outside the restaurant.

Serving a wide range of food from sandwiches, paninis, salads, jacket potatoes to delicious main meals and a mouthwatering collection of cakes & desserts. Fairtrade tea and coffee plus a variety of cold drinks.

A choice of hot and cold Lunch Boxes for Children. Highchairs are available.

The Queen Mary is open daily from 10am all year round until 90 minutes before the zoo closes.

The Queen Mary Restaurant is also available for hire for private and corporate functions.

The Grey Lady Tavern

Located in the grounds of the 11th Century Castle, the Grey Lady Tavern is fully licensed, serving a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. You can find a selection of lager, wine, cider, fruit juices, fairtrade hot drinks plus sandwiches, crisps and chocolate.

Dudley Castle Courtyard makes a perfect picnic location for lovely sunny days!

Grab a snack or a drink before you start or end your journey with us here at the zoo. Hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, chips and snacks.

Opening times of the Grey Lady Tavern & kiosks vary throughout the year and are open mainly during the summer and school holiday periods (weather permitting).
