We’re dipping back into DZG’s photo archive today as part of our 80th anniversary year. Over the last eight decades DZG has seen plenty of changes across the 40-acre site. Here we take a look at the zoo in the past and compare it to present day. Can you spot the differences…

Castle hideout!

The farm’s female guinea pigs have their very own castle hideout, thanks to the talents of a group of crafty Dudley pensioners. What great parties!

Thanks to the thousands of under fives who joined our 80th birthday celebrations this week. We threw two big birthday parties on Wednesday and Thursday to mark our anniversary, complete with puppet shows, animal encounters, crafts, face painting and tombola.
