Fundraising Events

Looking for a challenge to raise money for a chosen charity or funds to support conservation projects at Dudley Zoo? There are many opportunities to hold your fund-raising event with us.

From abseiling down the castle, a sponsored walk around the zoo or being brave enough to stay overnight in one of Britain’s most haunted locations we can work together in partnership to assist with your fund-raising goals. Uunfortunately we cannot support individuals for fund-raising events, only groups of a minimum 50 people and the fund-raising must be related to a registered charity that relates to our own mission.

Communities & Schools 

Get your school or community group involved to support conservation. Fundraising is a great way to bring people of all ages together to raise money and awareness for a good cause. All the money raised goes back into animal welfare and conservation projects here at the zoo. 

Adopt an Animal for Groups

Packages start from £50 per year and include:

• family ticket & Kids Go Free vouchers
• certificate & photo of adopted animal
• personalised plaque outside adopted animal enclosure
• quarterly copies of Zoonooz newsletter
• photo & PR opportunities with adopted animal
• opportunities to book a group visit to meet the keeper and your adopted animal here at the Zoo.

We can assist with your fund-raising activities by bringing some animals out to your school or group and provide raffle prizes.

Here’s some fun ideas for your event:

• sponsored skip, fun run or bounce!
• table top sale
• pop idol contest
• sponsored silence or sponsored spell
• fancy dress day
• name the bear competition.

Charity of the Year

You can nominate Dudley Zoological Gardens as your Charity of the Year and help support our conservation work. We can help you by providing visits to your place of work with some of our animals, raffle prizes and PR opportunities.
