Spook-tacular Halloween events!

We’re gearing up for a spook-tacular Halloween at DZG!

DZG Halloween trick or treatBrave young souls are invited to join us for our children’s Hocus Pocus evenings on Thursday, October 27 and Friday, October 28, where there’ll be close encounters with a variety of creepy critters including snakes, spiders and cockroaches.

Join us after hours, from 5pm until 8pm, dressed in your spookiest costumes to watch Dippy’s Halloween Show and participate in ghoulish games.

There’s also the chance to take part in a Halloween Hunt around the zoo’s eerie site, which includes a visit to the haunted cottage for a trick or treat surprise… if you dare!

Tickets are limited and are priced £9 for everyone, with children under three free.

Meanwhile adults can get into the Halloween spirit from 8pm on Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29 during a Paranormal Evening in the heart of the 11th century castle, which will feature investigations, vigils, experiments and tours.

Tickets for this over 18’s-only event are priced £30.

Marketing Manager Andrea Hales said: “Our Halloween events always go down well as the zoo and castle backdrop provides the perfect spooky setting.

“Places for our Hocus Pocus and Paranormal Evenings are selling fast but there’s still time to get in on the eerie action.”
