A media partnership between DZG and Dudley College's Evolve campus led to a prize for two teenage film makers and a video for the zoo's website.
Footage of our Barbary sheep by students Daniel Round, 19, of Kingswwinford and Edward Witton, 18, of Dudley, took first place in their end of year project and bagged them the £50 first prize from DZG.
Head of Media and Communications, Jill Hitchman, said: "The standard of all of the students' videos was high but we felt Dan and Ed's work told the story of endangered Barbary sheep in an engaging and interesting manner and fitted well with our web style."
Evolve Curriculum Leader in Art Design and Media, Claire Binnion, said: "This collaborative project has been a very rewarding for the students. It has provided a real insight into working to a live brief as well as a greater understanding and appreciation of the importance of conserving endangered species."
Daniel receives the cash prize for his and Edward's video on Barbary sheep from Jill and Claire.
