‘Wake up the Zoo’
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work at a Zoo?
This Guided Tour provides the opportunity to go behind the scenes and get up close and personal with a variety of exotic and endangered animals.

Follow the Keepers as they go about their daily duties of feeding breakfast, cleaning and caring for the animals.

Suitable for all ages. After breakfast discover the Zoo and Castle for yourself.

Group Itinerary
8am Arrival and introduction
8.20am Meerkat feed and talk time
8.45am Meet and feed the Tapir
9.20am Meet and feed the Sealions
9.40am Meet and feed the Giraffes
10am Breakfast time for you at the Zoo*

*Breakfast at the Zoo is optional

‘Dr Dudley’s Guided Tour’
Join intrepid explorer Dr Dudley on a perilous journey through many exciting animal habitats and exhibits across the Zoo.

You will get up close and personal with and learn all about many endangered and exotic animals. Also unlock the secrets that have been kept hidden in the Castle for centuries.

After the guided tour you will have the opportunity to discover the Zoo and Castle for yourself.

10.15am Meet'n'Greet with Dr Dudley at main entrance
10.30am Tour of Dudley Castle to find out more about its past
11.00am Creature feature at Discovery Centre
11.45am Tour of Lemur wood
12.15pm Visit Monkey tails for a guided tour
1pm Lunch time and end of tour

Do you dare to discover what secrets lie in the ancient ruins of Dudley Castle?

Do you really want to know what goes bump in the night?

Join our resident paranormal expert on a dark journey to find out the secrets about our haunted Castle and maybe meet some of our spiritual friends!

A visit to the Castle can be a surreal experience given its unique setting in the grounds of a Zoo.

The Castle sits majestically above the town with commanding views of the Black Country from the keep.

Group Itinerary 1
9.15pm Arrival at Zoo
9.30pm Ghost Supper in the Grey Lady Tavern
10pm Moon lit tour of Dudley Castle
11.00pm-11.45pm A talk on the Paranormal and The Ultimate Dark Experience in the Castle Under croft
11.45pm-12 Midnight A time for question. Night ends.

‘Bunk with the Beasts’
A Unique Nocturnal Adventure. Are you brave enough to spend a night in Dudley Zoological Garden’s haunted Castle?
An evening full of activities suitable for all ages followed by a hearty breakfast before helping to ‘Wake up the Zoo’ the following morning.

‘Murder in the Castle’
There’s been a murder in the Castle grounds, but who did it?
Enjoy a three course meal in the Queen Mary Restaurant or Castle where you will be served by some of the Castle’s former residents. Listen to their tales and find out clues as to who committed the crime. Followed by a moon-lit Ghost Walk with Baron Dudley.
