Wild about learning!

Education sessions for all age groups take place in the Discovery Centre and Rainforest Room which offers a classroom and conference suite.

Situated in the heart of the zoo, between our Patagonian sealions and DZG's very rare Humboldts penguins, the Discovery Centre, a listed Tecton building, is also home to a variety of small tame animals which are used in teaching sessions.

Exhibition areas tell visitors about our worldwide conservation projects and partnerships with interesting facts about some of the highly endangered 750 animals we have in the collection.
