Group Visits

Visit as a Group and get up close to over 1,000 exotic and endangered animals. With 40 acres to explore plus an 11th century castle there’s something for all ages. If you are an organised club planning a day out, celebrating a special Birthday or visiting with family and friends we offer discounted rates for groups of 10 or more with 1 free adult with every 10 paying admissions. We offer a daily programme of talks and animal encounters all year round. We recommend allowing at least 3 hours for a visit. With a restaurant, café in the Castle, licensed bar and several take-away kiosks there is something for every taste and budget. There are also plenty of outdoor picnic areas around site.

Dr Dudley Guided Tours

For a small additional cost you can pre-book a Dr Dudley Guided Tour. We have two Tours available to choose from that each last for 60 minutes. A Dr Dudley Tour of the Zoo that will take your group on a journey to learn all about the many endangered and exotic animals that live here. A Dr Dudley Tour of the Castle to unlock the secrets that have been kept hidden in the Castle for centuries and discover the mysteries of one of the most haunted places in Britain. You can combine the two tours together for a 90 minute tour. 

VIP ‘Wake Up The Zoo’ Group Experience

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work in a Zoo? This Guided Tour provides the opportunity to go behind the scenes and get up close and personal with a variety of exotic and endangered animals. Available for a minimum group of 6 people and maximum 12 prices start from only £45 per person.

Discovery Days  

Bring your rainbows, beavers, cubs and brownies to Dudley Zoo and explore 40 acres with self guided trails to add a fun and educational element to your day. Fact finding can all go towards your badge. Every year we run Special Discovery Days that includes your very own animal encounter plus other special activities. Please click here for dates (link through to Events page). You can arrange your very own exclusive Discovery Day here at the Zoo. We are able to cater for groups of 50+ at times to suit you.
