We’ve installed the first digital signs at DZG allowing visitors to keep up-to-date with all the latest ZooNooz, events and offers.
Three screens have been installed on site – two in the shop and one on the outside of the flamingo house.
DZG Graphic Designer, Rachel Lane, who has worked on the screens alongside the zoo’s IT Consultant Andrew Bessant, said: “We’re pleased to launch the new screens which enable us to get information across quicker to visitors.
“We’ve put them around the zoo entrance so visitors can have the information at the beginning of their day, before they head out further onto the site.
“At the moment the screens are showing Halloween and Christmas adverts, directing people to Lorikeet Lookout and Romy, our giant anteater and publicising our daily talk times and we’ll also be playing ZooNooz animal videos too.
“If they work well then we’re hoping to roll out more across the 40-acre site in the future.”
