GENERAL OPERATIVE

Dudley Zoological Gardens, a leading Black Country visitor attraction, is looking to recruit a General Operative to join our maintenance and development team.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in this type of role.

Key attributes will include good organisational skills, self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised.

A full driving licence is essential.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

CUSTOMER SERVICES TEAM MEMBER – OUTREACH ACTIVITIES

Dudley Zoological Gardens are looking to recruit Customer Services Team Members to assist with our outreach events, providing support for outreach and marketing activities.

Educated to a minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English, with previous customer service experience an advantage.

Duties will be varied, to include face painting and small animal handling.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with good communication skills and the ability to engage with people of all ages. This is an ideal role for those with an interest in animals or working towards an animal qualification.

Relevant training will be given where required.

Successful candidates will be available to work weekends, school holidays and bank holidays as required.

Hours of work will be on a rota basis to meet the demands of the business.

SANTA CLAUS (Seasonal Contract)

Dudley Zoological Gardens is looking for Santa Claus to work in our very popular and busy grotto during December.

Previous experience in a customer service capacity or similar will be an advantage.

Successful candidates will have plenty of Christmas cheer and Ho! Ho! Ho!

Duties will include meeting and greeting children and adults, ensuring they all have a positive experience.

Relevant induction and training will be given where required.

It is necessary that you are available to work weekends and weekdays on a rota basis, starting from 1st December through to 24th December.
